Overview

Liebert Cassidy Whitmore (LCW) is a legal firm that provides trainings to the Northern California community College Districts’ Employment Relations Consortium.

These regional workshops are typically related to employment, performance, and compliance issues. They are generally scheduled at a Northern California community college location where employees can attend in person or via video-conference or webinar. Materials include slide notes, case studies, and an extensive workbook.

Community college attendees who are also attorneys can get Minimum Continuing Legal Education Credit (MCLE) credit. An MCLE sign-in sheet and certificate will be available at each workshop.

Topics, dates, and locations are identified at the beginning of the fiscal year and promoted through email announcements from the Human Resources Training Department. The nature of each topic will determine which employee groups are notified and invited – though the audience is most often managers and Human Resources staff.
