Chancellor's Office
Los Rios Community College District is led by Chancellor Brian King, who came to Los Rios in 2012. The Chancellor’s Office includes the offices of the Board of Trustees, Education & Technology, Communications, and the district's General Counsel.
Communications and Media Relations
The Communications and Media Relations Office is responsible for the communication activities of the district.
Education and Technology
The office of education and technology develops and coordinates educational programs, services, and technology for the district and its colleges in addition to implementing policies and academic programs that promote student access, equity, and success.

Facilities Management
Facilities management provides maintenance/operations support and oversees all planning/construction districtwide.
Finance and Administration
Finance and Administration is responsible for establishing and implementing business practices and procedures that maintain the financial stability of the district.
Financial Aid
Financial aid provides coordination, technical assistance, and policy leadership for the four colleges with respect to locally administered federal, state, and institutional financial aid programs.
General Counsel
The General Counsel's office provides legal services to the district and its employees.
General Services
The general services office oversees many functions of the district, including custodial services, purchasing, printing and mail services, receiving, safety and risk management, contracts, and real estate.
Grants
The grants office works with resource development to secure grant revenue from corporations, foundations, and government sources. It also coordinates grant activity to ensure effective grant planning, consistent management practices, and efficient tracking of grant resources.
Health and Wellness Services
Human Resources
Human Resources is responsible for recruiting and hiring employees for the district and providing professional development opportunities for employees.
Information Technology (IT)
Through technology, the Information Technology (IT) department enables innovation and transformation, delivers solutions and productivity enhancements, and enriches educational opportunities.
Institutional Research
The Office of Institutional Research provides the district and colleges with information and research to support planning, budgeting, assessment, accreditation, policy formation, and decision-making.
Instruction
The Office of Instruction works with the colleges' instructional programs to support the delivery of equity-minded, inclusive, and well-coordinated instructional programs across the district.
Payroll
The Payroll Office is responsible for processing employee wages and related deductions.
Printing and Receiving
The Printing and Receiving Office manages copy and print jobs for district office staff, mail services (both intercampus and USPS), receiving of packages and deliveries, general office supplies, and records storage.
Purchasing
The purchasing department oversees procurement of goods and services, manages bids and proposals, awards bid contracts, manages surplus and disposal, and more.
Resource Development
The resource development office is responsible for raising philanthropic resources to support students and the educational priorities of the district. The associate vice chancellor of resource development also serves as president of the Los Rios Colleges Foundation.
Risk Management
Risk management works to protect the district against the financial consequences of accidental losses and preserve the district's assets and service capabilities from loss or destruction.
Student Services
Student Services works with teams at the colleges to create a welcoming environment for students, serve the whole student by integrating services, and contribute to student success at all stages of the student’s academic and human development.
Workforce and Economic Development
The Workforce and Economic Development Center offers a range of services to foster economic growth and prosperity in the Capital region.
