The Information Technology Department (IT), under the direction of the Associate Vice Chancellor of Information Technology is responsible for services related to district-wide infrastructure (network and cabling) and information systems (student services, business services, library system, telephone system, voice-mail, Internet, Web services, etc.)
Services related to Personal computers (PC) and Local-Area-Networks (LAN) are the responsibility of each College. The IT Department provides PC and LAN support for the District office locations.

- Problem Resolution Services (starts by contacting the district IT Help Desk)
- Production Request Services (sent to the Production Control unit of IT)
- Work Request Services (usually requires an ISWR form and signature approval)
- District-wide Application Software Change Request (requires IT Governance group approval)
Technology support services are provided by the District Office Information Technology Department (DOIT) and college technology personnel and supported by district and college budgets.
