More in This Series

This session invites managers and administrators to reflect on their leadership philosophy, core values, and the competencies needed to support equity advancement across the campus.

Participants will consider how leadership practices influence communication, collaboration, and institutional accountability for student success. Through guided dialogue, leaders will explore strategies for moving beyond conversation toward coordinated action that supports employees and improves outcomes for students.

Activities and discussion prompts will be anchored in examples of shared findings identified in the Equitable Outcomes Assessments conducted across LRCCD to support the implementation of recommendations such as developing shared equity leadership frameworks and strengthening institutional accountability for advancing student success.

Audience

  • Administrators
  • Senior Staff

About the Workshops

From 2023 to 2025, Hotep Consultants (HC) conducted an Equitable Outcomes Assessment at Sacramento City College, Cosumnes River College, American River College, and Folsom Lake College to better understand the environment, climate, and overall experiences of LRCCD employees and students.

As a culminating activity of this partnership, HC will facilitate Equity-Focused Professional Development Workshops that all employees across the district are welcome to engage in.

Three distinct experiences have been developed for Student Services and Support Professionals, Instructional Faculty, and Administrators. Each session will be offered twice to provide multiple opportunities for participation.
