This unique event highlights the power of hands-on learning and collaboration across disciplines, while offering an engaging cultural experience in an intimate campus setting.
We hope you'll join us for an evening of exceptional food, compelling storytelling, and the opportunity to support CRC students as they bring their talents to the stage and table.
About Anna in the Tropics; By Nilo Cruz: Set in a Florida cigar factory in 1929, the 2003 Pulitzer Prize-winning play is the story of a newly-arrived "lector" - a man who reads stories aloud to the workers while they roll cigars - and the swirling intrigue and danger that erupt as he reads them Tolstoy's classic novel Anna Karenina.
Tickets are $75.00 per person and include parking. Proceeds benefit Culinary Arts Management and Theatre programs. Seats are limited – secure your reservation before February 26, 2026.
Hosted by the Los Rios Colleges Foundation, CRC Culinary Arts Management, and CRC Theatre Arts Department.
