Any employee who wants to serve on a hiring or interview committee must first complete the Hiring the Best Training course. In addition, any employee who wants to serve as the equity representative on a hiring committee must first complete the Equity Representative Training course. Employees may attend training at any district or campus location.
This training meets the requirements of the EEO Plan Component 8: Training for Screening/Selection Committees as mandated by the Title 5 Regulations, section 5300 et. seq. Meets State Professional Development Guideline B: Staff development, in-service training, and instructional improvement.
